Secret Prayer
Because he knows he can't accomplish his Jesus Ice Cream mission on his own, Jim (a.k.a. Gideon) is personally reaching out to churches, Christian groups, and A&M student ministries across the entire Aggieland community, making this previously secret prayer publicly known to as many Aggie Christians as possible.
Jim started with this email sent from his iPhone to an Aggieland Pastor named Ben:
Howdy Ben - An Aggie Dad's Prayer
Howdy Ben,
"I scream, you scream, we all scream for Jesus" is my prayer that I pray for myself, for you, for my Aggie daughter, and for all her fellow Aggie students.
It's also the battle cry for the collegiate Jesus Ice Cream t-shirt ministry I'm hoping to launch this Fall in Aggieland.
Just as Gideon doubted himself initially when he was called by God to do the impossible, I find myself being overcome with debilitating doubt as I plan for my Jesus Ice Cream launch in College Station.
I’m nervous even sending you this prayer request.
But like Gideon, and his famous battle cry, I know I need to trust that God will send me 300 prayer warriors who will stand by my side, praying, sharing, and shouting…"I scream, you scream, we all scream for Jesus!”
My daughter, a sophomore at A&M, saw that I was uncharacteristically doubting myself and challenged me to personally reach out for prayer support from as many Aggie Christians as I can.
So, Ben, will you please stand with me as one of the 300 and pray the Jesus Ice Cream battle cry across the Aggieland campus and community for me?
Gig 'Em Jesus!

Jim has kept his secret prayer all to himself until now, and he hopes that by mustering up the courage to share it with other Aggie Christians—like Ben—he will finally be able to conquer his doubt.
Text Jim a "Howdy!" and let him know you're praying for him and Jesus Ice Cream.
It's launch time, Jim—stop doubting.
